The Aggregated Lifestream of Darrin Snider

The real-time, inane ramblings of a socially inept, 40-something, IT equivalent of a swiss army knife, blogger, podcaster, gamer, musician, wannabe novelist, movie nut, scifi fanboy, comic book afficionado, fledgling day trader, new media champion, and general cranky geek. Now updated hourly -- or better -- for your convenience and not intended to be interesting to anyone who doesn't know me personally (so don't bother pointing that out).

Tunage

To get the full experience, you really need to be jamming my kind of tunes as you read...

Building the Perfect Beast

This one is for the certain group of people who seem to think that all of our email correspondence is elitist, intellectual stuff about tech stocks and marketing strategies.

From: Vinnie

Date: Unimportant

Ok, I think I have finally nailed down, if I was Dr. Frankenstein, the parts needed for me to assemble my perfect woman:

Hair:  Jessica Simpson ( dyed black, of course)
Eyes:  Liza Minelli/Britney Spears (the big, doe-eyed saucers they both have)
Nose: Sean Young
Lips:  Gina Gershon
Ears: Doesn't matter since you can't see them anyway
Neck:  Rachel Weisz in The Mummy (yeah, it was a thing with me)
Breasts: Salma Hayek (bet you thought I was going to say Shannon Elizabeth)
Tummy:  Jennifer Garner pre-baby (natch)
Behind:  Beyonce (yes, J. Lo is the obvious choice here, but, that's just a tad too much)
Legs: This was the tough one….but, I have to say, Ann Margret's from back in the 70s.  I just remember seeing a picture of her back then and finally "getting" the whole "leg" thing.

Now, if you're the master of photo shop you say you are, you can whip up this chick for me tout de suite!

Vincent! That is sick, twisted, and completely shallow and chauvinistic!

Okay, my turn...

(Lessee, resisting the urge to just say, "Hell, put Kate Beckinsale's head on Julie Newmar's body and I'm spent.")

Hair:  Jacqueline Smith ... circa '78 ... or (Mila Kunis in That 70's show)
Eyes:  Lauren Bacall circa '41
Nose: Morena Baccarin
Lips: Jessica Alba
Ears:  Hayden Panettiere (I have no idea what her ears look like, but I want her to be a part of this somewhere)
Neck:   Kate Beckinsale (this includes the jaw-line, I assume)
Breasts:  Very tough call, but since you took Salma, and Shannon is the obvious choice... I'll take Lindsay Lohan circa "Mean Girls," though really a full assessment of nipple type (per Jeff Murdoch) would be necessary
Tummy: Kiera Knightley
Behind: Julie Newmar and I want it in the original black vinyl packaging.
Legs:   Famke Janssen

Hey, that's surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.
